I have loved Siavish Amini for a few years now and this album takes his art into utterly unpredictable and beautiful directions. Also if Rutger Zuydervelt (Machinefabriek) likes it then that's the only stamp of approval necessary. I have a sincere question for Mr Amini which is not intended to insult anyone's faith or deepen our stupid-enough divisions but if I were to ask an Iranian mullah "How can instrumental music possibly be an affront to Allah ?" how would he reply ?

I have Siavash Amini's discography - there are few artists I'm able to listen to at all times. It's natural to cycle thru art dependent on mood, however as mentioned elsewhere, some works are enduring and Siavash's works are definitely included. It's hard to see in those strange limbos, dropouts of the real world filled by an everlasting fog. But it's not the point, eyesight was never needed anyway. You came here to expiate something bound deeply to your body, something terribly sad and wrong. And so the blinding haze turns into abrasive hail, lachrymal melodies turn into beautiful self-destruction, the feelings collapse and explode into reverberated catharsis. Everything was and nothing is anymore. The rest is finally silence.
